Coming Soon Free Checkout Saver feature
Never Lose a Receipt. Never Miss a Return. Never Forget a Warranty.
Checkout Saver Purchase Protection is being built to automatically organize your online purchases, track return deadlines, remember warranty coverage, and keep your proof of purchase ready when you actually need it. And like our other shopper-first tools, it’s being built to be free.
Purchase Protection is coming soon. Install Checkout Saver today and you’ll already be ready as new shopping tools roll out.
Your money doesn’t stop mattering after checkout
Buying It Is Only the Beginning.
The moment you click “Place Order,” several clocks may start ticking. Your return window. Your retailer’s refund period. Your manufacturer’s warranty. And months later, when something breaks? Good luck remembering where that receipt went.
Checkout Saver Purchase Protection is designed to remember those details for you.
A purchase shouldn’t become harder to protect just because time passed.
Less filing. More automation.
From Checkout to Protected.
This workflow is coming soon. Here is how we are designing it to work.
Shop normally
Buy from supported retailers just like you already do.
Checkout Saver recognizes the purchase
The extension is being designed to identify supported order-confirmation experiences and offer to save the purchase.
We organize the important stuff
Retailer. Product. Purchase date. Price. Return information. Warranty details. Proof of purchase.
We watch the clock
See what can still be returned, what’s protected by warranty, and which deadlines are approaching.
No shoebox full of receipts required.
Return deadline tracker
“Wait... Can I Still Return This?”
You shouldn’t need to search an inbox, find an order number, Google a retailer’s policy and count days on a calendar just to answer that question. Purchase Protection is designed to put the answer right beside the purchase.
See upcoming return deadlines in one place and get reminded before an eligible return window quietly disappears.
Return policies can vary by product, membership, seller, purchase date, condition, holiday policy and other factors. Inferred dates are not a guarantee a retailer will accept a return. Where possible we’ll preserve the policy source and let you correct it.
Warranty tracker
347 Days Left Means More Than “I Think It’s Still Covered.”
Products tend to break long after you’ve forgotten when you bought them. Purchase Protection is being designed to keep the purchase record and warranty timeline together, so months later you can quickly see what coverage may still be available.
Something broke? Open the purchase record instead of digging through a year of email.
Checkout Saver does not provide the warranty. Coverage depends on the manufacturer or retailer policy.
Digital receipt organizer
The Receipt You Need Is Always the One You Can’t Find.
Receipts matter most months after the purchase — exactly when they’re hardest to locate. Checkout Saver’s Purchase Vault is designed to keep proof of purchase connected to the product it belongs to.
Search by product, retailer, brand, date, order, or status.
Search purchases
The purchase isn’t over
What If Checkout Saver Could Keep Looking for Savings After You Buy?
Today, most shopping tools stop helping the moment you check out. We think that’s backwards. We’re building Purchase Protection around a bigger idea: if something changes after you buy, Checkout Saver should be looking out for you.

Why Is a Savings Site Building a Receipt Tracker?
Because saving money shouldn’t end when you press Buy. Checkout Saver is independent. We’re building tools around one question: “Would this help a shopper keep more of their money?”
Coupons. Cashback. Discount Gift Cards. Our free eBay Bid Sniper. And now we’re working on protecting the purchases you’ve already made.
We don’t need every feature to make us money. Sometimes a useful tool should simply be useful.
If Checkout Saver helps you save money, remember a deadline, or recover money you otherwise would’ve lost — we’ve done our job.
Purchase Protection is coming soon. Install Checkout Saver today and you’ll already be ready as new shopping tools roll out.

What Is a Receipt & Warranty Tracker?
A receipt and warranty tracker is a tool for organizing proof of purchase, purchase dates, return deadlines and product warranty information. Instead of keeping receipts in email, drawers, screenshots and paper folders, a digital purchase tracker keeps the information associated with each purchase together.
For shoppers, that can make it easier to answer questions such as:
- When did I buy this?
- How much did I pay?
- Where is my receipt?
- Can I still return it?
- Is it still under warranty?
- What was my order number?
- Has my refund arrived?
Checkout Saver Purchase Protection is being designed to bring those functions directly into the shopping experience.
Why Keep Receipts for Warranties and Returns?
A receipt or other proof of purchase can establish important details such as where an item was purchased, when it was purchased, what was purchased and the purchase price. Requirements vary between retailers and manufacturers, but keeping the original purchase record can make returns and warranty claims substantially easier.
A digital receipt organizer helps preserve that information long after a paper receipt may have been lost or faded. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission explains shopper rights around refunds, returns, and exchanges and product warranties. Checkout Saver does not replace those policies — it is being built to help you find the record when you need it.
Receipt, Return & Warranty Tracker Questions
What is Checkout Saver Purchase Protection?
Checkout Saver Purchase Protection is a Coming Soon feature designed to help shoppers keep proof of purchase, return windows, and warranty timelines together in a Purchase Vault. It is not available yet.
Is Checkout Saver’s warranty tracker free?
Yes. Purchase Protection is being built as another free Checkout Saver tool — like cashback, coupons, Discount Gift Cards, and the eBay Bid Sniper. There is no planned subscription for the tracker itself.
Is Purchase Protection available yet?
No. It is Coming Soon. You can create a free Checkout Saver account and install the Chrome extension today so you are ready when shopping-protection tools roll out.
How will Checkout Saver track purchases?
The long-term design is for the Checkout Saver browser extension to recognize supported online order-confirmation experiences and offer to save a purchase record. That detection is not live yet, and support will depend on the retailer and the page we can read.
Will Checkout Saver save receipts?
The Purchase Vault is designed to keep proof of purchase — such as a receipt or order confirmation — connected to the item it belongs to. Receipt capture is part of the planned product, not a live feature today.
Can Checkout Saver remind me before a return window ends?
Deadline reminders are a planned part of Purchase Protection. Return windows can vary by product, seller, membership, holiday policy, and other factors, so any date we show should be treated as information to verify, not a guarantee.
Can Checkout Saver track product warranties?
We are designing Purchase Protection to keep a purchase date, product record, and warranty timeline together so you can see what coverage may still apply. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and retailer. Checkout Saver does not provide the warranty.
What is a digital receipt organizer?
A digital receipt organizer keeps proof of purchase, dates, prices, and related documents in one searchable place instead of spreading them across email, screenshots, and paper. Purchase Protection is being designed as a shopper-first organizer tied to the purchase itself.
How long should I keep receipts?
It depends on why you are keeping them. For returns, keep proof of purchase at least through the retailer’s return period. For warranties, keep it through the warranty term. For taxes or major purchases, many people keep records longer. Requirements vary — check the retailer, manufacturer, and any tax guidance that applies to you.
Do I need a receipt for a warranty claim?
Often yes. Many manufacturers and retailers ask for proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, to establish when and where the item was bought. Policies vary. Checkout Saver cannot guarantee that a saved record will be accepted as proof.
What counts as proof of purchase?
Common examples include a printed or digital receipt, packing slip, order confirmation, or sometimes a bank or card statement. What a retailer or manufacturer will accept varies. Keep whatever they specify in their return or warranty policy.
Can a receipt be used for a warranty claim?
A receipt is often the primary proof of purchase for a warranty claim, but some brands also ask for serial numbers, original packaging, or registration. A saved receipt helps; it does not automatically approve a claim.
Can return policies differ by product?
Yes. Return windows can differ by product, marketplace seller, membership status, holiday exceptions, opened vs. unopened condition, and other factors. Never treat an inferred deadline as a promise that a return will be accepted.
Can Checkout Saver track refunds?
Refund and return status is a planned part of the Purchase Vault (for example returned, refund pending, refunded). That tracking is not available yet.
Will Checkout Saver automatically detect online purchases?
Automatic detection of supported order-confirmation pages is the intended differentiator versus apps that ask you to photograph every receipt. It is Coming Soon, will apply to supported retailers only, and will ask you before saving a purchase.
Can I manually add purchases?
Manual add is a capability we want the vault to include so offline or unsupported purchases can still live next to detected ones. Exact manual-entry fields are not final.
Will I be able to search old purchases?
Search by product, retailer, brand, date, order, and status is part of the Purchase Vault design. Search is not live yet.
Will Purchase Protection work with the Chrome extension?
Yes — it is being designed as part of the Checkout Saver experience, including the free Chrome extension, so the best time to remember a purchase is when you are actually making it.
Can Checkout Saver tell me when a price drops after I buy something?
Post-purchase price-drop detection is an idea we are working toward, not a committed or available feature. If we ship it, we will not imply that a retailer owes you a price adjustment.
Does Checkout Saver guarantee a retailer will accept a return?
No. Retailers set their own return policies. Purchase Protection is designed to help you remember dates and proof of purchase. It cannot require a retailer to accept a return.
Does Checkout Saver guarantee warranty coverage?
No. Checkout Saver does not provide product warranties and does not guarantee that a manufacturer or retailer will honor a claim. Any warranty timeline we display should be verified against the original policy.
